Cancellation Policy
Rhody Surf is a small seasonal business with limited time slots available each day. Many of our programs are sold out weeks in advanced and for that reason, we have a detailed cancellation policy to allow flexibility for our customers.
Once a lesson or camp reservation is scheduled, it is deemed as ‘on’. If for any reason you cannot make the reservation, Rhody Surf, Inc. requires a written notice here and will follow this protocol depending on how far in advance the cancellation is requested from the scheduled date:
14 Days Prior to Reservation
Full refund or reservation rescheduled to another date in the same season.
7-14 Days Prior to Reservation
50% refund or reservation rescheduled to another date in the same season.
48 Hours - 6 Days Days Prior to Reservation
No refund, but reservation rescheduled to another date in the same season
Under 48 Hours to Reservation
No refund or option to reschedule reservation.
Rescheduling Policy
As documented in our Cancellation Policy, we will accept reschedule requests up to 48 hours in advance from the scheduled start time. All reschedules must be booked within the same season. We only allow one reschedule per reservation.
Late Arrival Policy
There is no refund for arriving late or leaving early for a scheduled lesson or camp. We provide no partial refunds for any of our offerings. We ask that customers are punctual for all lesson and camp reservations.
Beach Closures & Inclement Weather
Rhody Surf operates rain or shine. Often times, rain storms are accompanied with ideal wave conditions for surf instruction. Plus, you’re already wet!
However, if the ocean is unsafe due to thunder and lightning or a municipal-mandated beach closure, we will not provide lessons. In these rare events, we will try to reschedule to a date that works well for both parties. If there’s no ideal time for rescheduling (i.e. visiting from out of town), we will provide a full refund in these safety-related cancellations.
